Vision:-To send the existing costly, unreliable, inefficient mono-function, weather dependent solar based systems to the history and opening new era of superior multifunctional systems.
-To be a company that best listens, understands, anticipates and satisfies the unique needs of those who live in isolated communities and disaster locations.
Mission: - Using simplest level of technology to bridge the gab on solar based systems positioning map between what the existing modern solar thermal energy technologies provide and what is adaptable to poor’s local conditions, can fulfill their needs, and offer environmentally friendly, socially acceptable solutions to their problems, for significantly increasing their willingness to adopt solar based system and preserving the environment.
Goals: to make solar energy more affordable, more accessible more flexible, simple, viable and reliable alternative than biomass based sources, offering new proactive environmentally friendly solutions for energy services in isolated communities and disaster locations, tailoring innovative technologies for those in the greatest need, to serve supremely when and where existing technologies can’t efficiently or economically serve them, providing poor by practical tools for purifying their water and generate income and food for themselves.
Objectives:- manufacturing 3 generations of unconventional multifunctional, superior to competition solar based systems, specifically tailored to suit local conditions and to serve efficiently and supremely to fulfill energy needs in isolated poor communities and disaster locations within 5 years of implementation, is to quickly exploit our competitive advantage and using defense/ attack strategy against competitors to be a star in a weak industry (Cash Cow Company) with strategy to dominate and milk the market for cash while not expending too much resources, by manufacturing multiple systems, creating a company outsourcing strategy, and supplying components of our products to dealers from the targeted communities to be, assembled, sold and maintained, then quickly collaborate with the international organizations to penetrate the emerging markets and access to those in the greatest need.

approximately 2,5billion people world wide use biomass, and its expected that extra 200 million people will use biomass by 2030, with 3 billion kg of biomass fuels being consumed daily, biomass is responsible of over 15% of global CO2 emission (sierra club), about 130000 squire Km of forest areas are lost every year (FAO), In most developing countries, fuel is becoming scarce and costly, some families miss meal although they have food because they don't have fuel to cook , air pollution has reached alarming level, and concerns about global worming mount, 1,4 billion people don’t have safe water to drink, a child die every 15 second due to preventable water related diseases, UN says an additional 784 million people will need to access to improved drinking water sources by 2015 to meet the MDGs target ,every 3.5 seconds a person die of hunger, rural poor cant produce enough food for their families, while up to 50 % of their produce is being lost due to unavailability of appropriate preservation and storage facilities, they use chemical insecticides that are not eco friendly, and can leave toxic residues in food ,UNICEF says solar energy storage issue is one of the most important issues that partially hide the gigantic potential that solar power has and science needs to work in possible solutions to solve this issue ,UNISCO says energy storage is one of the sound solutions to the climate change problems of the earth and sustainable development, practical methods are needed for transporting clean energy , the explosive growth of world population with growing energy prices, expected long term oil shortage, the serious problems related and recently appeared with nuclear power, all indicate the urgent need of clean fuels while the limited resources of water needed for agriculture, desertification, and the continues increase in world population increases the need for reducing post harvest losses as shortest and fastest way to increase food security

Green Energy believes that solar energy can considerably contribute in environmental health, economic growth and sustainable development of developing countries, however, the problem is not in solar energy as its free, but is in its existing unreliable, inefficient, unrepeatable technologies that make this free source of energy costly, and luxury, reduce it's competitiveness with conventional fuels, and failed to meet with specific needs, local conditions and social acceptance of those in the greatest need at the base of economic pyramid, that force poor to harm the environment and deplete their natural resources extensively to get their needs. Development program (technology in the drawers): - Sky’s the limit Green Energy awarded for its first prototype from Arab Organization for Industrialization, it has a well intended development program based on 10 years of research that can help it to jump quickly from prototyping to production just it may get some financial support ,and can help it to keep sustainable powerful competitive advantages for being faster better and cheaper than competitors, it includes many surprises and consists of extraordinary 3 generations 15 versions for our system, all are superior and multifunctional, designed to offer different practical options to solve unique poor problems, some can serve at nighttime, humid regions, rainy season-- and can reassembled to be solar powered, others can best suit rural and fisher communities, for those who live in disaster locations, camps and refuges we enabled energy transportation to be used in different locations , we offered several methods for energy storage to be used in cold nights and suit local conditions of the targeted groups, for those who suffer of chemically contaminated water we offer several practical options(small size, easy to transport, efficient ,light weight, portable, low cost systems) that can be used for water distillation , some can be used for water pasteurizations to serve in locations that suffer of biologically contaminated water, and we offer several options for clean cooking , we designed portable light weight , multifunctional , stove that accepts different pots sizes and can be fueled by different burnable materials ,its much similar to the favorable 3 stone stove and has the ability to use heat losses as source of power for other system’s functions, for those who suffer of biomass scarcity we helped them to make use of each piece of biomass, while those who suffer of water scarcity we added few cents indicator with no need for electricity, to help them control on water consumption, some of our systems are portable, and foldable for out door use, and to serve in disaster location, others are for internal use , some of our systems can much suit drying grain and insect disinfestations ,for those poor who live in metal cottages we utilized and captured the heat that radiant in hot summer inside their cottages to supply them by hot water and cooling their cottages in the same time,---, and we have some very attractive versions that have a great potential to attract new segments as those who live in developed countries, all are based on accurate examination for market needs and existing competitive products, each of our versions has its unique advantages, the goal is to develop the perfect and ideal solar based system that can suit the different specific local conditions in the isolated communities, that gives Green Energy ability to compete in both of blue and red oceans markets ,and elasticity to tailor for each community , the system that can perfectly suit its local conditions, and supremely fulfill its specific needs , thus achieving social acceptance and optimum satisfaction. Green energy believes that when targeting poor the product design has an impact on their willingness to adopt, and using the truly most appropriate technology that is adaptable to their local conditions is more sustainable and can better meet with their social acceptance, than the newest, most pioneering one. Strategies:-we will create outsourcing strategy, and just- in -time technique , will adopt multiproduct and defense attack strategies against competitors, Siva model, strict quality control program, and cost plus pricing strategy, to manufacture the components of 3 generations of market- based superior to competition products, that based on differentiation -focus strategy, will offer for customer more value for his money ,exceptional incentives, pre-financing plan , and 3 months promotional price for each of our products, Reaching the identified market segments:- -because Green Energy does not have financial resources to lunch its own sales team so to acquire customers , maintain relationship ,increase accessibility and to take sustainable roots in the targeted communities , Green Energy's strategy is to involve dealers from the targeted communities , as a cost effective alternative to full time salaried sales forces, to help facilitate penetrating the targeted markets and groups, we will give priority for graduated women, as most of time they are the users of our systems, so they may be more sensitive to customers' desires, and they can more effectively market to women, we will provide them with knowledge for assembling maintaining and installing of our products ,that can offer jobs opportunities for local labor, circulate much money , generate local prosperity, and assure sustainability. -green energy will work primary from its dealers' orders.

that help poor to be more productive with less amount of fuel wood, it can serve as fuel wood dryer that increases wood's heat recovery efficiency, and reduces smoke that lead to sustainable savings in fuel expenditures, reduces the burden on women and girls in collecting fuel wood, and reduces deforestation, land degradation, household air pollution gasses' emissions to contribute to environment's health) (Goal 7) 14-In-One can form a source of income generation by creating low cost, sustainable agro processing micro enterprises, and offers jobs opportunity to local labor, in assembling and maintaining, that generate local prosperity, contribute in eradicating poverty (Goal 1), empower poor’s particularly women (Goal 3), and increase poor families' income that helps parents to pay school fees for their children and reduces child labor (Goal 2), helps mothers to get the necessary health care (goal 2) pay for mosquito net and malaria treatment (Goal 6) -Improving health, nutrition and increasing incomes reduce susceptibility to HIV infection and the onset of AIDS as well as other major diseases (Goal 6) Environmental benefits:-14-In-One is a solar powered/ fuel saver system , aims to replace the non –renewable fuels with renewable ,and reduce poor dependency on biomass, it has the ability to contribute to global climate protection efforts, and can play a vital role in helping to meet rapid growth of energy demand in developing nations, it can serve several functions in the same time with 3 cost free sources of power, it can make use and recycle heat losses from biomass cook stove that lost to environment by evaporation or in form of thermal energy in flue gases, it can serve as fuel wood dryer that increases wood's heat recovery efficiency, reduces smoke, and household air pollutions, to help poor to be more productive with less amount of biomass, reduce their reliance on depleting natural resources to get their needs, reduce green house gases emissions, deforestation , and preserve the environment,14-In-One offers several environmentally friendly options that are safe for human, and environment for control of stored grain insects ,that can reduce the prevalence of synthetic chemicals in food production, reduce the use of conventional fuels mainly LPG(liquefied petroleum gases usually propane and butane) that farmers normally would use ,enabling farmers to produce their own pesticides cheaply and consistently that reduce their needs to import chemicals (Piyasvasti 2001) it also uses heat fungicidal and insecticidal effect for insect dis infestations, that can replace fumigation that based on using Ozone layer depleting substances and can leave residues in food grains that are toxic to human, 14-In-One eases clean energy transportation and services in refuges, and disaster locations that can reduce environmental degradation in the areas that are surrounding refuges, serving as solar water heater and other energy applications (distillation ,drying crops---) it can contribute in climate change mitigation efforts by displacing all or some of the fuel that would have been used, reduce ambient air pollutants including oxidizes of nitrogen, carbon monoxide, and often sulfur dioxide, volatile organic components and particulates as well as CO2 (Carbon abundant from solar water heating (tons CO2 abated/100 liter/year) are 1.07-0, 46-0,45-1,5-0,59-0,96 when using solar water heater in Barbados, Brazil China, India, Mexico, and South Africa, (green markets international January 2005),serving for food preservation:-it can contribute in avoiding environmental damage in forms of water and lands that are be used to produce food that no body will eat

Competitors:-Aside from Green Energy there is no business or organization on a local or global scale that is manufacturing or selling comparable 14 functions solar thermal energy systems however on a local scale the competition may come from :- Direct competitors:-According to GTZ 2009 workshop there are 9 companies that are active in manufacturing solar water heater in Egypt 4 are manufacturing and installing, 5 are importing and installing. Type of products: - mono-Function solar thermal energy systems:-Solar water heaters, solar dryers, solar cooking systems and solar space heating. most sales are solar water heater (annual Market is around 20000 square meter,) according to national research center in Egypt-currently 500 000 domestic solar water heater are in use in Egypt according to some estimates half don’t work, price/unit(natural circulation system) is about $1000 to $1300(Cairo international industrial fair 2010) Indirect competition: may come from commercial and non commercial sources of energy, traditional methods for drying and water purification, also chemical pesticides Strengths and weakness of the competitors;- Competitors SOAT analyses Strengths:-having longer operating history, greater name recognition, and significantly Greater financial, technical and marketing resources, as a result they can be able to devote great resources for promotion and sale of there products. Weakness: costly, low performance, bad quality, low durability , and financial viability, unreliable ,weather dependent, ,short usable life, lake of maintenance facilitates, mono-function systems that misjudge customers' local environment, and priced outside their purchasing power, and suffer of many technical problems, most cant serve efficiently or economically in isolated communities. Threats: - uncertain future for the mono-function solar thermal energy systems that are soon will be a history. Green Energy SOAT analyses Strengths 14-In-One is the first that specifically tailored to suit local environment and to serve efficiently and economically in desert isolated communities, and disasters locations, its the first that can serve one some or all of 14 functions around the clock with 3 zero cost power sources, the first that can serve several functions in the same time using the same amount of energy, the first that can dry crops on individual scale with control in drying temperature the first water flow rate control solar based system that can concentrate the collected amount of solar thermal energy to achieve maximum intensity per unit volume of storage tank and storage medium that reduces need for storing energy and reduce manufacturing costs to be less by 30 %,than mono function systems the first that can serve as water distiller with automatic feeding and ability of achieving boiling point or pasteurization temperature to produce bacteria free distilled water,, the first that user can shift its use from traditional biomass stove to modified one, the first can be tailored to suit users local conditions and variable weather, and the first that enables clean energy transport on individual or small community scale to be used in different locations and purposes Weakness:-No market presence or reputation, no customers' base, small staff. Opportunities:--Our competitors may be slow to imitate our products, outsource strategy may give us some elasticity; and the increase in the prices of conventional energy has to increase the potential need, governmental incentives as reducing taxes and duties of the components, or needed materials Just is implemented Green Energy will be eligible to get financial support that is provided through the industrial modernization center, and clean development mechanism. Green Energy has built strategic partnership with a UK based NGO that will help penetrating the emerging markets. Threats: - products imitation, how long our superior products, and our development program will help us to keep the existing competitive advantages to survive in the market? How long we can delay our competitors? However existing solar based products suffer of many technical problems that restrict its use in isolated communities and disaster locations just for example General problems related with some of famous known existing solutions:- The existing costly, mono-function, bulky solar based systems are weather dependent, that reduce their reliability ,each is usable for short period each year that reduce their, financial viability, they misjudge local conditions, needs, behaviors and purchasing power, of those who live in isolated communities at the base of the economic pyramid they need wide area for installation that is much needed for growing crops, and suffer of bad reputation, and many technical problems that may restrict their use in isolated communities, just for example:- solar dryer is not economically viable for small scale farmers who may need it to dry just a small amount of produce each year in the limited months of harvesting season, then it stay with no job till the next year , its not operational in rainy season or humid regions when and where famers have very limited time and in urgent need to dry their produce to the safe level for storage, that reduce its reliability ,its with no control in drying temperature thus the produce may be spoiled when no sufficient temperature inside the dryer , it may be cooked at midday due to high temperature , or it can loss weight due to over drying that results in reduction in farmer income when selling the produce, Solar water heater technology based on availability of continuous supply of water while those in isolated communities may walk miles to get their basic needs of water, its bulky system must be installed in stable roofs that can withstand its weight, energy density inside the tank is very low thus it equips with large heavy costly storage tank , user has no ability to transport energy , and suffer of many technical problems that reduce its efficiency(as energy reverse-over heating, stagnation condition, the need for impossible thermal stratification that leads to difficulty or impossibility of extracting energy at top of the tank and supplying collectors with hot water), is not attractive from an economic point of view Solar water distiller: of low yield, needs favorable weather conditions, manual feeding and cleaning that may cause splashing, suffers of dry spots, has no ability to boil water thus it may produce biologically contaminated water, it may be needed only in dry season The awards winner SODIS: - the used plastic containers add to water bad taste and smell, they may release toxic harmful chemicals to water, treated water needs additional purification method as boiling , is not effective when water chemically contaminated Modified biomass stove:- hundreds of various types of stoves made of stone, clay and metal have not been able to solve the problems related to the preparation of food by women under conditions in the developing countries, no adequate understanding of users’ needs, behaviors and motivations led to failure of improved cook stove programs, as most of stove designers don’t put in mind that the fire is used by users for other activities apart from cooking and the claim that traditional stoves are only 5 to 10 percent efficient neglects the many other benefits that they provide for user, the solution is a system that user can shift its use from traditional biomass stove to modified biomass stove that can offer for users the advantages of both
