Golf Without Frills has three guiding ambitions:

- That every child in Marrakesh will have the opportunity to experience golf
- Every child who chooses golf will be welcomed into a sport that they can play for life
- Every child who steps up to the first tee will be encouraged to reach their full potential.

In response to this significant disparity in Marrakesh, GWF was created to provide a free golf program necessary for the local children robbed of an occasion for physical activity, coaching, being part of a team, learning life skills and a distraction from “negative recreation” and hopefully reducing a very high school dropout rate and feelings of depression and anxiety.

Problema

By Royal speech on the 18th May 2005, HRH the King of Morocco announced a far reaching National Initiative for Human Development to alleviate poverty and social exclusion. On the 23rd September 2009 the Moroccan Youth and Sports Minister announced that less than 1% of the population has a sports licence and that the majority of those who have are in the senior age bracket. Although he also announced the creation and construction of 1,000 cultural-sport centres between 2010 and 2016, with each centre comprising a multisport ground, a hall for marital arts, a library, a childcare facility and some shops, those wishing to join and practice their favourite sport (apart from golf) will need to pay between 30 and 50 Euros a year subscription.
