To rebuild and build one village at a time, Our focus is centered with providing these villages with mud/cement housing--- the choice of mud and cement is because mud is a natural resource free in these villages, the combination is economical and durable. Housing in place our next focus is water, access to clean water is non-existing, building of water wells, will provide clean water, reduce diseases, illness, and provide water for the farms. Our agricultural project will provide villages with farming tools, fertilizers, seeds. This will leave villages with plenty to eat with surplus which can be sold, in return provide income for villagers. Education, fostering education will allow growth for the next generation. Basic Health care will reduce the death rate, healthier and stronger village.

Problema

Children, youth, women, men, elderly the community/village as a whole. Without our projects these communities will go without clean drinking water, poor sanitation, because villagers are using the same stream for drinking water, bathing in the same stream, laundry done in this same stream. Resources are not available to build huts/houses, agriculture project will lack the basic to trieve. Educations is out dated and no material available for desk, chairs, pen, pencil etc. Basic health care is not available to villages they have to travel to cities. The four villages we serve Now is about 6000 people.

Solução

Sierra Leone had seen better days, now that the war is behind us, bigger organizations have secured the cities a bit but villages in Sierra Leone has seen little or no outside help. Hope is lost, you can see it in their eyes. We believe that if you provide the grass and the fertilizer and water it will grow. So we at Khadarlis are giving these villages a place to call home, water, solar electric, agricultural base, education, basic health, and Solar lighting, then they in turn can take over their villages and make it productive and self reliant.

Exemplo

When Khadarlis was founded, villagers were sleeping under Banboo Huts, no walls, when it rained they got wet, food was hard to reach or get to, farming in need of a boost, no fertilizers, villages could not afford them, water supply was through streams, UN-sanitized, schools were closed due to the affect of the war. Since khadarlis has been established, we have managed to build 15 Mud houses, 1cement/mud house. One water well installed, one solar panel put up, some farming implement in place, chair, desk build and in place. Since our projects village is becoming.

Ofertas e demandas

In order to strengthen the Local Economy we are in need of Sponsors, donors, collaborators to fund these projects, we will like to buy product and services locally.
