Youth for Youth is a conceived idea which is yet to be implemented due to pitfalls such as financial challenges.
After implementation, Youth for Youth will focus on helping the youth in IT, in Kenya, to sharpen their skills on web design, software and mobile programming as well as facilitate job creation through outsourcing of projects via sites
such as Odesk, Elance, freelancer and so forth. in future, we can incorporate a wider scope of skills but as for now, the three are our major concern. Trained youth will have an opportunity to work with us on projects we may come up with or seek a better alternative else. the key role is to impact skills, conquer joblessness and alleviate poverty.

Problema

at the moment, I can only be realistic and start small with between 5 and ten students. the reason being; lack adequate capital to come up with a good office for the role, computers and Internet facilitates for many. if we get a person who can donate computers and others who can assist financially, the project can kick start any moment beginning now. There's room for for people of great interest in our activities to become part of the team as managers or advisors.

Solução

my solution is innovative because it will create paradigm shift on how Kenyan youths perceive succeeding in life. Through the initiative, more youths will focus on becoming freelancer agents instead of waiting for government jobs which are not always reliable. once they have earned their skills, they will outsource employment and get paid via western union, master cards, wire transfer and so forth thus they manage their own pay. Getting own salary means, you can help others instead of depending on them. if i create a sizable working area, I will teach my candidates on the necessary skills as well as on the do's and dont's of outsourcing.

let me focus on my example: having been employed for the last 3years, i began outsourcing employment on Odesk and other sites. it's been almost an year since then and now am earning between $100-$200 a month with a higher possibility of earning more in future. since the Internet jobs are unlimited and on a wider variety, why can't i engage a few more youths and make a difference that will go a long way into uplifting the general welfare of the society. Kenya needs people who can think beyond themselves to develop hence if i become the change we(Kenyans)have been looking for, my students will as well become agents of change. the result will definitely be more self reliant youths and improved standards of living. however, I can't do this unless you become a part of my initiative.

Outsourcing employment is a concept that's still new in Kenya. I therefore wouldn't cite competition from other countries as serious. however, to compete in the global market(Internet) one must have the finest skills or else become listed as a non performer. after every job, the client is able to rate the contractor on a scale of 1 to 5. one is the least while five is the maximum rating that can be earned. if you are ever in the lower section, you will definitely not be getting any contracts in a long time. if my candidates take the opportunity seriously, i will have succeeded in life by helping others achieve their dreams.else if, i will have suffered a blow. fortunately, Kenyans are after making a decent living thus no way they can fail. this is an opportunity great enough for any youth who focuses on matters beyond today.
