Hi Gabriel,

What an amazing story of fundraising for the tournament and it is a shame that it didn't happen on the following years.

May I ask you what happens after the tournament? How do you bring the teams together? Are they from other charities working with football for social change?

During the tournament, are there any other services offered for the audience? I've seen this really cool idea of offering many stall with health services (like HIV testing and counselling; workshop on work opportunities etc). Do you think that would be possible in your region?

I would love to get more details on how you think the football tournament changed the lives of the young people participating.

Good luck on the competition!

Dear Gabriel,

what an interesting project.

you mentioned in your entry form that the tournament creates a plataform for the youngsters to speak up their grievance on local administrators and i´d like to know, based on the results you have listed, what kind educational methodology you work with them to promote, for inst, dialogue with local admins, if the youngsters are incentivated to play a key role on their civic participation and with that they nurture (who´s around) to do the same. What kind of main changes you perceive in this process?

thank you! good luck!

I admire the amount of hard work and committment that you have put into keeping this tournament alive for the last five year: it is obvious that you are very committed to making a difference in yoru community. Just a couple of questions. Do you have any particular activity that you focus on more often that you would clearly base your obvious behaviour change amongst the youth in your locations? How do you select whom to give scholarships for fees to? Is it possible for you to partner with another organisation locally who can focus on the social change aspect and leave you to work on football, mobilisation and encouragement. You are doing such great work, that all the community now rely on you, perhaps they can volunteer a little more to take some of the responsibility?
All the best with your application!
