Hi. i know some of you will go to the group on wiserearth, some won't. On wiser earth, and here, it is really helpful to have a discussion where people introduce themselves only (welcome, responses start new discussions). Helpful to know some items that may not be in your profile or entries.
Are you interested in this group as a reader/viewer or as a writer? If writing, what are you working on? What level of experience are you at, what stage is your writing in? Some people are well-versed in the background and moving from nonfiction into fiction, some are moving from other fiction into this form; some are early in their work and looking for background info for their settings, critique partners...others are looking for publishing options or beyond that, publicity and promotion.
List any resources or questions you have, want to share, or are looking for. Visions,strategies and actions re how we can work together to get a body of work, this "genre" widespread are very much what I am here for. i will write my personal intro this weekend. I completely agree that ecofiction needs to improve its
status in the popular culture. Presently, ecoadvocates
tend to be objects of ridicule in popular entertainment.
This needs to change. I would like to get some feedback
