Describe your idea in fewer than 50 words.
organaising women in groups of over 30 and providing them with working kits and helping them to start saving and loaning to themselves.
What makes your idea unique?
It involves groups of farmers who know and trust each other saving and loaning to themselves at low interest of 7-10% and sharing the saving and the interest at the end of the year.

What impact have you had?
Over 20 groups were formed and have an average saving of over 20 million Uganda shillings.

Low house hold income
Increasing female headed household.
High interest rates charged by financial institutions on loans.
Limited agricultural finances.

Building the capacity of farmer trainees.
Advising the farmers on rightful loan usages.
Training farmers in group dynamics
Encouraging trust amongst group members.

Yes strategic plan to train both women and youth in the age bracket of 16-30 in beekeeping and improved beehive making so as to overcome poverty.
