Why is the solution presented around money or "funds". Is that all that is needed to solve the problem?

Have you been to Haiti recently? I have, there are trailers of donated items they cannot use. If given the knowledge and opportunity which does cost money -- the situation could be much improved. If you had read the entire post it was not money alone that would be needed. Even if you are to make changes by using football does not football equipment cost money or require sponsors?

If the main problem is funding, donors and investors should mobilize resources to the most effective and knowledgeable organizations. What organization will be responsible for developing this initiative? What is the proven track record that will allow it to be succesful?

In the 21st century's development sector, "teaching a man to fish" is not very innovative. Quoting Bill Drayton, Ashoka's founder, "Our job is not to give people fish, it's not to teach them how to fish, it's to build new and better fishing industries". How is your initiative innovative?

I read your idea and was surprised that the main topic was to find resources/funds. Is there no other way? I think you should enfatize as main topic how to create capabilities and skills for Haitians.
