Edith Grynszpancholc has dedicated the past 16 years to improving the quality of life and access to adequate treatment for children with cancer. She is the founder and president of Natalí Dafne Flexer Foundation. Edith is also founder and director of Psychosocial Oncology Latin American Society Chapter, member of the executive committee and Latin American representative of the International Confederation of Parents of Children with Cancer, Ashoka Fellow, and promoter of Paradigma XXI- Patients Alliance for Collaborative Advocacy.
Her work focuses on supporting public health, multi-sector networking, defending patients' rights and raising awareness in the community. She makes technological tools readily available to those involved in healthcare provision, promotes networking and enhances the rights of beneficiaries. Among her most prominent achievements, Edith has helped to ensure that organizations in Argentina and across Latin America work as a network supporting public health in each country and she has empowered them to be able to enforce children’s rights.
