I mobilize people, media and ideas for Ashoka Changemakers - and Changemakers competitions. From bringing innovators into our community, to getting the media to cover our amazing stories, my job is to get people excited and share the stories of our incredible community of Changemakers!
My two homes: Washington D.C. & Greece.
I want people to feel like the betterment of their lives is in their own hands.
I work at the intersection of digital media, international development, and social entrepreneurship. I am a digital communications strategist with a focus on content creation, partnership-building, and community management in the online space. Currently I work with Ashoka’s Changemakers - and love every second of it.
Prior to my work at Ashoka I was a part of the strategic communications team at ICF International, where I conceptualized and implemented the US-Saudi Women’s Forum on Social Entrepreneurship, and led the creation and implementation of online strategy for the US-Middle East Partnership for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research.
My international experience is most concentrated in the Middle East (mostly Saudi Arabia), where I worked with women and young entrepreneurs. Other countries I have worked in include Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, through work with the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative.
I received my Masters degree in International Affairs from American University, and my Bachelors degree from the College of William and Mary.
