I work to end the way the world responds to mass atrocities, and genocide. I have worked in many communities in the world - Thailand, US, Guatemala, and now Darfur refugees living in camps in the middle of the desert struggle to survive day to day, but also to preserve what is left of their culture. I work in the US with grassroots communities, high schools, middle schools, universities, and religious groups to raise awareness and empower these groups to take action for their passions and causes. Our projects bring the voice of the survivor, the innocent civilians, to the forefront of the movement where they deserve to be. We link US advocates and communities directly with Darfuris living in the refugee camps. Our technology enable global communication via videos and photos in order to truly build a justice and equal humanity.
With people, especially those who feel forgotten or lost. Those who feel their rights have been taken away and their voice silenced. I also feel connected to the activists and regular people who are acting to be the friends and voice of those in danger. Connecting the two groups is the most wonderful feeling I can have.
The way the world responds to mass atrocities and genocide. To empower people to feel passionate enough about something to take action. For everyone to feel they are part of Humanity.
