In 2003 I helped found the IPTI, with the aim of developing innovations technologies for social interest and since then my life took on a meaning closer to the purpose of transformation that I believe all life should be. Before I was born in Aracaju (Sergipe, Brazil) in 1962, I graduated in civil engineering in 1986, I did a master, doctorate and 2 postdoctoral fellows in numerical methods applied to engineering, from 1987 to 1998, I became a teacher in engineering courses in 1997, teaching until 2005 when I began to work exclusively at IPTI. Probably I am no longer able to perform any of the complex mathematical operations, which I was surrounded by a long period of my life. However, I am sure that all I did were essential steps in preparing myself to perform what I am doing now.
