Footloose and fancy free, love tahat saying! But seriously, Thuli the work you are doing is fantastic, taking children off the streets and teaching them that dance is not only a passion but can be a profession. A means of helping ones family. I think your shaping leaders, children that the community can look at with pride knowing that the future of the country is good hands, and that these young women will grow to become caring and strong mothers of the nation.
Your project caught my eye as i am a keen dancer and i also teach contemporary dance to my University club twice a week.
Do you plan to expand the project by teaching dance to children in various other townships within the area?
I think dance is a fantastic tool which can be provided as a means of distraction for all the children and also the excitement young children get from engaging in dance is amazing.
I love the work you are doing in South Africa and i also visited South Africa two years ago and it is my favourite place. While travelling South Africa i visited a township and really felt that the children would truely benefit from engaging in structured sport (dance)
Good luck with everything
Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks so much for your words of encouragement. At the moment im concentrating on helping my little dance group, and booking more performaces so the girls and show off what they have learnt.
I also want to get them equipment and proper transport to the shows-maybe once that is done i can START thinking about expanding.
