It is a Maternal-Infant Health System based on PREVENTION.
Strategies:
1. Health care based on national and international regulations with an approach of our own for the structuring and organization of proper, efficient, and quality services in a sustainable manner.
2. Risk focus to detect women and children with bigger chances of having health difficulties (we have our own evaluation system).
3. Implementation of the preventive system by professional staff trained in our Institution. OBSTETRIC AND PERINATAL NURSES.
4. Administrative program that has permitted us to be self-financed for 17 years, with accessible costs for the middle- and low-income population.
5. Responsible and proper use of and collaboration with public services and official and private institutions that have similar goals.

Our System has helped diminish maternal and perinatal mortality, the number of children with birth defects and the percentage of disabilities.
Professionals (Obstetric and Perinatal Nurses and Psychoprophylaxis Teachers) have been trained and are now promoting the idea and applying their knowledge to the maternal perinatal and infant area of official institutions, where they are more and more accepted as professionals trained on integral and preventive care of mothers and children.
We have created huge opportunities for nursing research with our own funds.
We have a Social Projection and Human Development Program that serves more and more professionals, as well as the community.

The CIMIGen Model saves great costs to the government in lives, disabilities and economic resources. The more the Model is used, the bigger the effect it will have. The authorities know it and praise it, waiting for the proper political moment to implement the project in accordance with the population's needs and resources.

We directly serve 5,000 families per year. Every year 370,000 pregnant women and their children, who currently receive no assistance, will be directly benefited. Those who work in the project, the suppliers of materials and the users are benefited from this initiative.

The employees are enthusiastic and satisfied, because they contribute to an important cause.
The users are also grateful and satisfied since they receive quality services at a lower cost, which results in a better life expectation and quality of life.
The public services have received the initiative with suspicion since incredibly they believe we will compete with them.
The private institutions have been fearful to undertake a commitment due to the great responsibility these services imply.
I am positive this is the system of the future in public health.

We have SELF-FINANCED the initiative with the money from the services we have rendered and the low payroll expenses.
If the Popular Insurance system accepts our services, our productivity and coverage will increase and serve a population that is in need of such services (there are 350,000 pregnant women per year in the country).
The private initiative can use our system at a lower cost and may have revenues to improve the health resources: human, technical and technological resources.

My origins in a little town, Michoacán, where health care needs were huge and the services were scarce, which led to family tragedies we all knew about (like mothers’ or kids’ deaths), really influenced me.
I had the chance to study in the city of Morelia, living in an orphanage. I studied, since high school, in the San Nicolás Hidalgo University of Michoacán, known for its social commitment.
I also participated in the National Institute of Perinatology before its foundation and I was its director for two years, where I realized about the little worry about PREVENTION, both from the authorities and from the health personnel and the community itself.
I’ve had the pleasure to know and to be working with a great entrepreneur, Mr. Antonio L. Silanes for 23 years already. He is a great fighter for health care in various areas in this country and has supported our idea.
