In 2007, I got the idea that I will initiate a change in the way companies engage into advertising campaign by developing and providing them with platforms that provide them with the visibility they want and which also provide the community with a free social service or infrastructure.
As a child, I was raise in Africa. I have always since then have felt fondness for this continent which is so tortured but so humanly rich at the same time.
I passionately want for the children of Africa to build towards a better future. Education, but also a better environment in which to grow are very basic needs that have to be provided for them and that are not at the moment. I want to see this happen.
I began my career as a media consultant providing investment and economic reports on developing countries to international media. In 2004, I became the Managing Director of a media company, World Television Report (WTR), which produced and packaged valuable business information in a television programme, Africa Report, broadcast on CNBC Europe. After successfully restructuring the company, I returned to Amsterdam in 2006 to tackle my next project: a social venture capital fund for investments in SMEs in Africa.
I has extensive international work experience in over 30 countries. Through the experience of working and living in Africa, I has developed a critical knowledge and understanding of the opportunities of the continent.
I believes passionately that, for true success, economic development has to be balanced with the achievement of social good. I continues to apply my entrepreneurial attitude and aptitude to this end.
I obtained an MBA from the University of Amsterdam.
