I am a social entrepreneur, event producer and life-long social activist working from my home office in the Union Square neighborhood of San Francisco. Originally from New York, I have been active as a professional and civic community organizer in the Bay Area for over 25 years. I work under the name of Brian Webster and Associates (www.brianwebster.com) as a consultant in sales, marketing and business development. I am the manager of Sound Action (www.soundaction.com), a virtual consultancy team that provides hands on services for producing events, raising funds and growing resources for nonprofit organizations, campaigns and worthy causes. I am an active volunteer with several citizen sector groups working on global and local social problem solving, Like many social entrepreneurs, I have always felt passion for social goals the way others feel passion for personal goals. My personal philosophy is based on Buckminster Fuller’s concept of using personal commitment and design science for global problem solving and the sustainable success of humanity.
