Ivan is Physical Education Professor, graduated in Camilo Castelo Branco University with a specialization in Special Education.
Besides playing for many years in the selection of Five Brazilian Football (Soccer for the Blind) he had played a role of sport coach with a team in Sao Paulo and currently is chairman of the Association of Parents, Friends and Visually Impaired of São Bernardo do Campo/APADV- which is twice champion of Soccer Five Tournament of Sao Paulo and regional champion of the same tournament (Ivan was the striker in the three competitions).
