After 30 years as a motion picture and television writer, producer and director in Los Angeles, I retired to Montana in 2001. Shortly thereafter, two things became apparent: a need – many Montana students lacked creative and artistic educational prospects, and the opportunity - perhaps my filmmaking experience could help address these issues.
In 2004, I received the "Corvallis Volunteer of the Year" award and the following year was a national nominee for the "Disney Teacher of the Year" award. And this year, MAPS received the "Award of Excellence" from the Society of New Communcations Research.
Educating Montana kids and then creating quality jobs for them.
