For 28 years I have worked to end gender-based violence, and have advocated for survivors. As a democratic-socialist lesbian who is raising a daughter, I try to be politically active when I can, and speak my mind. I am a teacher, and engage my students in making the connections among different forms of oppression so that they can carry on their social justice work in a more informed way.
