I became a breast cancer advocate after completing treatment for my own breast cancer. I founded a nonprofit organization called Pink-Link which connects survivors online.
I really want a cure to be found for breast cancer. But, until that happens, my passion is helping women undergoing treatment by making sure they have the support they need.
After completing treatment for breast cancer in 2004, I founded Pink-Link, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower women in obtaining a healthy survivorship from breast cancer. Our website, www.pink-link.org, hosts the largest online survivor database in the country with over 4,000 members in all 50 states as well as internationally.
