Improved public services particularly on wastewater and solid waste sector with a more pro-poor policies applied
I graduated as Environmental Engineer, Bachelor degree from bandung Instutue of Technology in 1990. Since then I've worked in several private companies as environmental consultant and part time lecturer until 1996. Since 1996 until now, I worked for a Bali-based local NGO.
In 1999-2001 I joined LEAD (Leadership for Environment and Development) training program and became LEAD Fellow Cohort-8. LEAD program provided knowledge and skills on sustainable development and the meaning of working together with all stakeholders.
In 2001, I received recognition as Ashoka Fellow for my work on solid waste management initiatives.
In 2000, I established my own NGO with couple of friends, called BALIFOKUS. Until now I'm incharge as the Director.
