I am volunteering my time and efforts in my community to make a difference. I am trying to start a Youth Basketball Summer League for under priviledge children.
My church is where I feel the best. I get the children from my neighborhood and take them to church with me. I got 36 kids from my neighborhood to participate in the christmas program.
I want the kids in my neighborhood to participate in the summer basketball league to go visit different states to compete. To learn about leadership, teamwork and self discipline. To offer them something other than what they are seeing on a daily basis in my neighborhood such as drugs, violence and people being killed.
I have been a volunteer coach for over 15 years. I have coached track & field, volleyball and cheerleading. I am the sunday school teacher at my church. Also, I donate food to the community to help feed starving children. Also, I counsel teenage girls about every day life
