Samit currently works for Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, India, and graduated from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University where he majored in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a concentration in Global Health and International Development. Samit's desire to create social change stems from early exposure to the social, economic, and political problems facing developing countries through experiences in India. Samit worked in Costa Rica to develop methods of increasing technological access for marginalized urban populations and taught at a community center in South Africa. He was also the director of a Georgetown University program that distributes food to the homeless in Washington, D.C., and interned with Changemakers in the Spring of 2008. Samit is originally from Brookfield, Connecticut, and enjoys running, traveling, and watching movies.
