Ross, Marin County, CA., is my home-town. Marin has succeeded in preserving small towns, rural land use, and open-space adjacent to the world-class city of San Francisco.
<> Seattle, an attractive, cosmopolitan, small city and my home of 30 years, is also on the edge of both viable agricultural land uses and true wilderness -- the Olympic Mountains and the Cascade Mountains.
I enjoy examining the overlap of Economics, Environment, Health, Human Rights, and Cultural Relations through involvement in multi-disciplinary partnerships in Business, Academia, Government, Science, and NGO's.
<><> BORN & RAISED
[] Ross, California, 17 miles north of San Francisco.
[] I formed a lifelong affinity for the outdoors; biking through the dairyland of Marin County and camping in the redwoods of the Coast Range and pines of the Sierra Mountains.
<><> EDUCATION
[] MBA (Finance), University of Washington. BA (Political Science), Stanford University.
<><> PROFESSIONAL
[] Extensive commercial real estate and real estate finance.
[] Also general business consulting (start-ups, M&A, and business development).
<><> NGO & NON-PROFIT ACTIVITY
[] I have enjoyed working with a wide variety of NGO’s, business organizations, & community groups:
- Geotourism
- Social Entrpreneurship
- Bridging the Digital Divide (esp. Africa)
- Historic Preservation (Pioneer Square, Seattle)
- Downtown Urban Development (Seattle)
