Co-founded XL Results Foundation in 2002. XL has grown to become the largest group of social entrepreneurs around the world with over 2,000 events held in 50 cities in 2008. We are committed to the concept of World Wide Wealth - Maximising our power to create and contribute wealth as a community of social entrepreneurs. We are committed to turning the traditional distribution of wealth from buckets of aid to a plumbing system of effective giving.
Bali is home, where I live with my wife, Renate and our children, Kathleen, Theresa and Luke. We have a resort, XL Vision Villas, where you get vision (there is a schedule of workshops from money-making to meditation throughout the year) and you give vision (we donate to the John Fawcett Foundation which provides cataract surgery and eye operations to the blind in Bali, so by staying at Vision Villas you literally give back the gift of sight).
A global system of effective giving where each of us can play the game as social company, social consumer or social contributor. We have launched the XL Social Enterprise Accreditation Program (XL SEA Program) which is the first global certification for Social Enterprises (www.worldwidewealth.org). As at 08.08.08 this had attracted US$72 million in pledges and $1.2 million in receipted donations. This program has a target of $100 million in donations from $1 billion in collective annual revenues by 2020.
Studied Architecture at Trinity College, Cambridge University. Launched a series of enterprises in publishing and property before dedicating fully to the mission of World Wide Wealth.
