Isaac has given students and community members an opportunity to grow and to make a difference in the environment in which they live. He has also set a pace for young disadvantaged individuals to converge to share their innovative ideas and accomplishments with top business leaders of today to foster a better future for all.
Isaac has answered the call to support youth entrepreneurship in underserved and marginalized communities in Cape Town, South Africa and is willing to replicate the vision to other parts of Africa.
As the demands of the global economy place increased pressure on societies to become self sufficient, the importance of providing opportunities to those who lack the necessary education and financial resources has become increasingly apparent. The emotional and material support generated by projects such as those initiated by Isaac is integral to promoting efficient markets and thus helping to alleviate poverty.
My expertise and mentorship has empowered young adult women, unemployed youth and graduates which has propelled them to far-reaching results thereby creating sustainable enterprises within marginalised communities in South Africa. I have a passion, strong ethical values and a sense of community development in South Africa and has participated in different forums that seek to alleviate poverty and unemployment. My inspiration lies in helping others to succeed. I am determined to further open the doors for those in need to find ways to help themselves and sees the “teach me how to fish” method of disseminating information as key in countries such as South Africa where resources are often limited. I believe promoting gender equality and empowering women is the only powerful weapon to address unemployment, poverty alleviation, reduction of crime, restoring the moral fabric and rebuilding of family lives in the long run.
