The Utne Institute, Inc. | Founder, Community Earth Councils | Minneapolis MN United States
I'm "pathologically entrepreneurial." I have started many enterprises, including the Tarrytown School for Entrepreneurs, in 1975. Some of the initiatives have been for profit and others not-for-profit. The best known is the Utne Reader, which, since 1984, has been about "not what's breaking down, but what's breaking through."
The moss, lichen, and "pin cushion" cactus covered rocks on the ancient rim of the St. Croix River, not far from Taylor's Falls, Minnesota. Eagles roost here, deer graze, and the views in all directions are similar to how they looked 500 and 5000 years ago.
I want to help both young and old find their unique gifts and give them to the world.
