I support indigenous sport development, enviromental awareness and alternative ways of living.
Any place where people are finding ways for a better life through indigenous knowledge and new ideas.
I wish that the education system would change to accomodate cultures specific to the schools region and that more enviromental awareness is given to children. It would be great if every school had a fruit or vegetable garden and recycling project.
Another great change would be finding ways to alternative building materials e.g. the recycling of waste to provide alternative housing as well as eco- housing instead of shacks.
My name is Nonhlanhla but most people prefer 2 call me Noni, I really don't mind. U can call me Nhlanhla, Noni, Nono, Nhlekzin its you choice actually.
My aim has been to encourage indigenous an game and develop it into a sport for the future. 3 Tin / Chigago is a game that is relevant becuase it encourages re-use and recycling. Recycling and environmental awareness is very crucial at the moment as the world is experiencing global warming. Children can be taught ways 'save' the world through this game.
They not only learn but have fun too.
