I have started a secondary school in rural Uganda to give opportunity to the un privileged to attain an education
Lake Victoria, every time I look at its waters, I fall in love with my country, knowing that there is really something beautiful and wonderful in this country.
I want every girl child in Uganda to be able to attain secondary education. Many dropout before sitting for their Ordinary level certificate exams.
As a teacher: I started teaching in 1990 at Makerere college School, a city mixed Advanced level secondary school. I taught there for five years and because of my love for teaching I have started a rural secondary school to give opportunity to my rural folk to access secondary education.
As a journalist: I joined the media as a sub Editor at The New Vision group of newspapers in 1994. I am now an Editor of one of its local publications,Bukedde Ku Ssande. I also used to write for a web publication, Africawoman, which was being produced by women journalists from 8 African countries, that is; Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania.
