Still working on figuring this one out. Is it really possible to know that one is a changemaker or is that only an ex post facto descriptor?
I want every individual to have the same opportunities as I have had to affect his or her own destiny. That means not just the choice, but the skill set and support needed to lead a self-determined life.
I am a second year graduate student at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University. In May, I will graduate with my Masters in Public Administration with a focus on international public and nonprofit management and policy. I hope to have the chance to apply my skills in a way that supports community development in India.
I spent part of the summer working for the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) in India and will return in January to work for a yet to-be-determined Indian corporation engaged in corporate social responsibility activities. I received a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University with a focus on the Middle East and South Asia.
