Peru, because I was stranded there in 2007 during national labor strikes. Alone and traveling in turmoil, by train, plane, helicopter, bus, car, bike and animal, I realized how much humans need each other.

Worked on microfinance in Peru, gender quota legislation in South Africa, and Mandarin in China. Wrote my senior thesis on intellectual property law and regimes in Brazil, China, India and the US. Currently working at the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Manhattan. Hope to get an MBA and several advanced degrees in economics, especially in order to work on PPPs for public health and development.
