I was born and raised in Virginia. I grew up in Williamsburg, Virginia and spent most of my youth wondering why people outside of my hometown refused to wear bonnets and tri-corned hats. I left Williamsburg to attend college at the University of Virginia and graduated in 2011. I am now living in Intibuca, Honduras and volunteering for the year with Shoulder to Shoulder, a medical NGO.
