I enjoy being a connector of people and a distributor of ideas. I launch Web sites and media pushes to further the exchange of ideas and be a catalyst for social change.
I feel very connected to every culture I visit, because I take a part of it with me and try to contribute, in some way or another, to every destination I am fortunate to be a part of, for however short a time.
I want to further the dialogue among changemakers. Communication is where change starts.
I help early stage internet publishers and established media brands develop and launch editorial and Web monetization strategies, including marketing and advertising operations infrastructure, working with engineering on product releases, and managing relationships with advertisers, ad networks and agencies.
I am a new media and editorial consultant for The Local Dish and EcoSalon’s Hill/Street Greens blog. I have also served as an editorial adviser to DataPop.com and CityCentric.com, and as editor in chief of Halogen Network’s editorial properties.
Previously, I was the editorial director at Leading Authorities, Inc., a premier public relations agency, multimedia events firm and speakers bureau based in Washington, D.C.
My writing has appeared in Nylon, The Washington Post, Conde Nast and Nielsen Media. Currently I am a contributing writer and columnist at The Washington Post, EcoSalon.com and TrueSlant.com.
