Jeroo Billimoria is a globally recognised and highly acclaimed advocate of children’s rights and economic empowerment. Born in Mumbai, Jeroo’s parents instilled in her a strong moral sense and an interest in finance. These foundations led Jeroo to dedicate her life to improving the situations of others through employment of practical, proven interventions. Jeroo has supported the development of several successful social organisations including the Childline India Foundation and Aflatoun, which provides financial and social education to children around the world. Jeroo founded her most recent venture, Child and Youth Finance International (CYFI) in 2011. CYFI is committed to ensuring youth financial education and inclusion in 100 countries for 100 million children by 2015.
