As a young boy growing up, I asked my father, " Papa, why did you give me this name, Kitso?" and he proudly said "because you will be a source of information to the nation son". So thats what my name resembles, light and knowledge.
My passion is my Community, and as a former/reformed gangster I have always felt the need to work closely with my peers to help address issues that confronts our society. I consider that a way of giving back to my community and saying "I am sorry for the pain I caused to some members of my community", through my experiences, I hope to share with young people in my community and help develop them. Personally, I am a bit of an idealist; an ambitious individual, motivated, enthusiastic and energetic young man.
I have never believed I could live happily and free anywhere else in the world expect in my home village of Ramotswa in "The Land of the Diamonds" Botswana. Though a small village, Ramotswa is an interesting semi-rural settlement, known for its homurous, intelligent and interesting people. A relaxed environment that gives you the peace of mind you need everyday.
I would love to see sports being accepted especially in my country not only as a recreational thing but also as a powerful, developmental tool and a vehicle for transporting all forms of messages. And to see Ramotswa Atlantic Swallows (My beautiful Birds) being promoted to the first division league in Botswana.
