Marc Pinkoski is the executive director of the Free Knowledge Project, a public teaching project that seeks to address issues of accessibility and barriers to learning and focuses on representations of Indigenous peoples and the history of Victoria, BC, and Canada. Marc has a PhD in anthropology from the University of Victoria, and taught there from 2001-10 and recently completed a post-doctoral research fellowship with the Indigenous Peoples and Governance Research Project, organized out of the Faculty of Common Law at the University of Montreal.
