FORTUNEWILLS ENTERPRISES NIGERIA,a Nigerian indigenous[product development]company helping to build a better Nigeria started in 2011 to give recognition to young Nigerian National who do not wait for others to provide employment but set out to provide theirs by creating a new business.The purpose of this program is to improve opportunities for young people/girls to realize their potential through the creation and development of their own businesses,such business which will contribute towards a more buoyant economy and communities with more fulfilled youth,these businesses connote training on various skills eg:ICT{Computer desktop publishing,computer appreciation,computer repair and maintenance,computer network administration,web design and development},fashion&textile design,culinary&catering skills,hairdressing&makeup skill etc.
In Nigeria the program has been designed to curb unemployment,girl/women prostitution & youth restiveness.
WHAT WE AIM AT IN NIGERIA
The objectives for the FORTUNEWILLS LIVEWIRE Nigeria program in Nigeria[PORT HARCOURT] is to
[a]Raise business awareness amongst final year university student to encourage them to see starting a business as a valid career option to help curb the high rate of unemployment,girls/women prostitution &restiveness in the country.
[b]Assist youth to discover and develop business idea through bright business idea workshop/skill acquisition training.
[c]Make available to youth that want to go to start a business,business planning and management guidelines and skills through BECOMING A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS OWNER MANAGER WORKSHOP.
[d]Provide a volunteer mentoring program for those who have completed the training course and decide to pursue starting their own business,mentors can be drawn from oil & gas,banking,social voluntary sectors etc.
[e]Run awards for the best business plans after skill training as a start up fund,the price of which give access to micro credit facilities through third parties like micro finance banks and NGOS.
TARGET BENEFICIARY:youths in the ages of 18-45years.
Summarily the mission of this program is to encourage gainfully self employment amongst youth through the participation in enterprise which will help curb the high rate of unemployment,girls/women prostitution,girls/women timidness/underdevelopment and restiveness amongst youth in the country,this program will enable people to be provided with the skills for effective business planning & management.
