I try to bring people of different cultures and countries together to work in areas of common interest. Our collective energy and ideas usually result in remarkable experiences and most importantly, changes for families and individuals who have much to offer but just need a hand to get ahead.
Three places: (1) the Tennessee hills where I was raised; (2) in the poor rural and urban settings in Latin America where I've met many wonderful people who live remarkable lives; and (3) on any ball field where the rules are clear, the competition is fair and everyone gives their best.
I want to see the youth of the Western Hemisphere be given a true and fair opportunity to succeed in life under their own terms. Too often we hear someone says "life isn't fair." It isn't as long as we allow it.
