As Director for Brand Management, Stephanie is responsible in developing, establishing and sustaining our branding and marketing strategies for Philippine coffee products, from concept to execution, according to how, why and where they are to be applied – in terms of functionality and profitability.
Her vast experience in advertising and marketing, dating back to the Philippines, makes her fully qualified for this position. She was brand manager for ESTI Int’l. and spent a couple of years with Basic Advertising Company, a leading ad agency in the country.
Later in Canada, her knowledge and proficiency in various computer software programs landed her in a support role in the IT department of the Mark Anthony Group. However, her interest in connecting with people made her decide to pursue sales at Kinko’s Canada Ltd, where she provided support to the branch in increasing sales and expanding its customer base through guerilla marketing activities. Similarly, her brief stint with the Multicultural Helping House, as a volunteer and as its first Centre Manager, has honed further her interest in community involvement, as well as her skills in strategic planning work with quantifiable results.
She also worked as Marketing Assistant at Cadillac Fairview, one of Canada’s leading property management companies and was responsible for establishing greater client-relations among its business clientele, helped in developing promotional plans and events for the company. As part of her work, she also successfully served as Overall Coordinator of the British Columbia Shopping Centre Association (BCSCA) Golf Tournament at one time.
She is currently with Bell, Inc., one of Canada’s leading telecommunications companies, as a Business Specialist, assisting in developing dealer and product promotions among its authorized retailers and branded dealerships. She is the main liaison in her division, coordinating with other departments and resources to achieve her team's overall sales plan. She also headed the fundraising of her team for Kids Help Phone where they raised $50,000. Recently, she received the Execution Excellence Award for her contributions in managing the CRTC compliance requirements for the Bell call centre business.
Giving back to the community is very important to Stephanie. She was a volunteer in the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver and a former VP and board member of One Filipino Cooperative of BC. While in the Philippines, she trained and counseled the youth.
She is a team player, who can always be relied on, a quick learner and a multi-tasker as well as a strongly motivated person with equally strong communication and interpersonal skills. She brings all of these qualities to accomplish the vision and goals of SIKAT.
