Born in China, Mr. Jiang Xueqin grew up in Toronto before attending Yale College. Since graduating with distinction in English in 1999, Mr. Jiang has worked in a variety of professions involving Chinese education. He worked for two years as a high school English teacher in Beijing before joining the Chronicle of Higher Education as their China correspondent. In 2004, he directed a documentary about minority schoolchildren in China. From 2008 onwards, Mr. Jiang has been designing and implementing a specialized curriculum for Chinese students planning to study in American colleges and universities.
