I hope you are able to promote your organization and activities through the Internet and via other activities...perhaps some videos or presentations that you can bring up to YouTube or other similar types of promotions...
I would "love" to see other products/services which can be marketed in order for your organization of people to be able to have multiple possible centers of profit and income earning.
How about "educational" programs where you could create presentations and/or videos that can be available via the Internet or where you could bring folks with $$ to places there and "educate them?

But, as a member of national tourism network, have you tried to take this methodology for the organizations/communities which you work in collaboration? Such as Prainha do Canto Verde and Projeto Bagagem (Notheast and North region)? Also, I know that you need a support of water capture technology and who is developing something about it is Centro de Educação Popular e Formação Sindical.

Não Elenice, na verdade esta questão é ponto de preocupação e interesse de todos nossas iniciativas e todos de alguma forma vem atuando neste sentido, mas ainda de forma desarticulada. Estamos iniciando a execução do roda d1água e esperamos os primeiros impactos deste piloto para então pensar na expansão dele (mesmo dentro de nossa própria organização, tendo em vista que temos mais de 100 famílias associadas e vamos trabalhar somente com 30). A questão que se coloca é complexa, trata-se de um “convencimento” do agricultor e sua família sobre a modificação de alguns hábitos e utilização de algumas “velhas” tecnologias.
Thaise responds that the replication of water wheel methodology is a concern and at same time raises interests among the group which works in collaboration (other organization that works with community tourism) but we are not organized still. Also we have just started the implementation of water wheel and we are looking forward to see the first impacts of it and then think about in replication/ expansion (because, in our organization, we have more than 100 associated rural families and we will work with only 30 of them to start the process). The issue is complex, the families need to realize the benefts from the new technology and change their habits of using old technologies.

No entanto, no momento não dispomos de nenhum material de qualidade que possa ser disponibilizado. Tudo que temos é muito longo e está desatualizado. Estamos iniciando as filmagens para 2 pequenos vídeos de 5 minutos cada – uma mais institucional e outro mais promocional. Deverão ficar prontos em 2 meses e certamente serão anexados ao nosso site. Com relação ao material promocional, temos alguns impressos que terei prazer em te encaminhar caso me passes teu endereço postal. Pensando na questão educativa, estamos começando um projeto com a Bovespa Social & Ambiental que acredito que ajudará bastante neste sentido. O projeto visa implantar 30 unidades de referencia (propriedades rurais) em tecnologias alternativas de geração de energia/proteção-utilização de água. O objetivo é estudar/implantar a tecnologia mais apropriada em cada unidade e capacitar o agricultor para ser um disseminador desta tecnologia em sua comunidade (roda d’água; aquecimento solar, etc). Além disso, pretendemos criar um “circuito turístico” das energias renováveis. O visitante irá passar em cada propriedade e conhecer as diferentes tecnologias (terá uma aula com o agricultor) e outras questões da propriedade rural (produção orgânica, por exemplo). - talking about education issue, we have just started a project with Bovespa Social and Ambiental that will help us with it. This main goal of this project is to implement 30 referencie unities (rural properties) with alternative technology for energy/protection-use of water. The focus is to implement the most aproppriate technology in each unity and give a training to the small producer to disseminate/multiply its technology in the community (water wheel, solar heat, etc). Besides, we intend to create a "tourism circuit" with renewable energies. The tourist can visit each rural property and see different technologies (also can have a class with small producer) and other questions such as organic production. The idea is to inspire small producers and locals about the needs and the importance of changing habits. Hugs! Thaise
