Please explain why your idea/project, is suited/perfect to using... 'media' ...to bring about A BETTER "WORLD"...the entire planet...?

We enjoy the focus of your project; to expose the ignorance presented as the way nature intended. 'Man'kind has indeed spent far too much time securing the foundations of our societies to support mankind remaining such & not allowing for the growth of humanity or for an even BETTER WORLD, might we simply call us by the name that unites US All beyond race, creed, color, religious affiliation &/or gender-positioning in the ruling class of mentally inherited ways. Oh that word would be, earthling! We are all stuck on this tiny LIVE GIVING PLANET [at least until space exploration increases the awareness of the mass populace] and thus we MUST play this game being played everyone, to see who can rise to the surface. Yet, isn't the surface where we all go wrong; the depth of our humanity resides in the earth (flesh/body), NOT in our citizenship! In our bodies, not our place of birth, unless it's Earth, community-ship (hARKen). Thank you for speaking out loud against the atrocities of mental-gender-violence, present it the most 'elite' corners of reality even to the most delete-educated real-it-why!

We really enjoyed finding your submission (sub-mission) as it has Inspired us to further our mission to BETTER & rethink our previous entry,

PS: We know this that type of media isn't always the best way to tell the truth, yet it must be let out of the box; now better than later...lives are suffering from our neglect to have done something sooner. Sow even though someone would kill to silence this truth, for the record, "This is it"! http://www.changemakers.com/en-us/node/66631

Thank you for the comment, Leonardo. I do think that this is a human condition that needs to be brought out into the mainstream and into public conversation. I think the fact that in Nigeria domestic violence is not on justified by the male population, but also by the female population as "the way things are" is why I believe the Word of Mouth project is necessary. Storytelling is an important part of African society, and nothing is more powerful than a first hand account of violence. I think that by bringing these stories out into the public we may be able to change the future stories of millions of women and may get men to rethink their actions.

Nigerians value face saving, the idea and potential for public hunilation (as DV is something that occurs in private and kept within the family) might just be enough to promote change. I understand that truth is relative and subjective to who is telling it, but even if there were inconsistancies in a story, this will force a discussion of a subject that has been swept under the carpet for far to long.

Aloha Jele,

It's 'past' time. The carpet must be cleaned. Today. The discussion has begun.

Nigerians value worth of mouth on a face remembered.
A voice, a perspective, observed, pondered, unearthed & understood.
Life, lived. Story telling is way of the past & future, & the present silence is the valley of the peak of peace on earth; our self revolutions won bring revelations one, as...
We orbit & circle, ever higher forward, on a spiral renewing mother earth cycle.
WomEn will heal the world this time. Your role as a changed (maker) mind is one of
the best examples to women & too "get men to rethink their actions".
Thank you for being you, for entering & nurturing the will...to...

¡SPEAKYOURWORLD! Alive!
