Discussion about entry: Reality Radio - true stories of substance abuse and recovery

I like this idea because it would seem to solve a problem (shame) that would bring more people closer to recovery. But is there a part of the healing process that eventually requires people to publicly acknowledge - in a real-world meeting, family, etc. - about their addiction? How can that be incorporated?

I also wonder if Webcast/podcast would be the first/best approach here and then syndicate the show and segments as public service announcements?
