What will be the impact of your idea?
Educators, Schools and future Rwanda generations shall benefit from SMS project. As said earlier educators are at the core of social transformation and the building of a Rwandan society proud of their common heritage. Educators shall be provide early warning information and indicators on the resurgence of genocide ideology in Schools to be used to fight genocide ideology and achieve universal basic education. The SMS dissemination system process shall be done according to the identified target group and for a particular purpose. The information received shall be processed and shared by various Education networks, peace builders and decision makers. We are targeting to engage 2000 to 3000 educators.

OLE Rwanda is one of leading NGOs in Rwanda using innovative technologies and methods for Quality Universal Basic Education (QUBE) thus we will improve Educators participation in e-governance and in fighting against genocide ideology in Schools. The early efforts are initiated the easy it become and educators can use the most common two ways communication media (SMS) available to actively participate. It shall use SMS Media interface messaging system with two ways communication to send SMS message to many educators’ and receive information sent from educators’ mobile phones to a computer interface system managed by OLE Rwanda.
How much will it cost to launch your idea? (This can be an estimate)
The estimated budget for this project for two years is 25 000 US dollars. The money will help to develop the SMS computer system, sustain services, technical support and maintain and develop users’ databases management system of this project and communication.
