Youth Change Community- A Youth Social Network for Social Change

Efforts for change must continue to involve youth, this will allow more of an impact in the future. For some youth it will inspire them to begin the work and to think creatively about how to bring about change. They will see the value in social action and that will impact their understanding of the world and what they can do to help. The prizes are only use as motivation to get started however the real reward will be in the social action.

Call outs will take place though blogs and video messages on the site. Example: "How to keep the homeless warm in the winter." Youth will except the challenge and show their actions using various forms of media (video, blogs..)
Many young people are always looking into the future and deciding on careers. If the youth feel good about taking part in social change through small steps, they will work towards continuing these efforts in their professional lives. This ultimately will result in more global efforts for sustainable social change.

The impact will also be felt by the people and communities that the youth will be serving as they respond to each call out. The concept has the ability to impact communities positively around the world.
