Homeless girls, women, street sexual workers join the community business sector for self-sufficiency, sports developement and human solidarity

How many people does your innovation serve or plan to serve? Exactly who will benefit?

20 girls and women per year including the homeless and street sexual workers. The beneficiaries of this project are the 20 persons and their families. There will be indirect beneficiaries since these persons will become leaders, multipliers and mobilizers in sports, homeless-based small businesses and humanitarian activities to help others like them. In general speaking many homeless persons and street sexual workers are going to have more benefits for example it is going to be positive changes

How do you implement your innovation and apply it to the challenge/problem you are addressing?

These girls and women will join a community business organization of entrepreneurs and wholesalers who have given encouragement to us for taking this step. Furthermore we have potential mentors within humanitarian groups of business people. Entrepreuners, wholesalers and mentors have supported us with instructors, facilities, pure chocolate, molds etc. since 2007 for instruction of the beneficiaries in production of chocolate's figures and are going to help us to network for production and different channels of sales according to customer preferences and resources.

We are just try to start this phase. However we can get an integral impact through rescue, rehabilitation, sports, humanitarian activities, self sufficiency and complementary activities with the media, comunities and organizations...will become leaders, multipliers and mobilizers in sports, homeless-based small businesses and human solidarity with others like them..

It will depend on political will....

Aside from financial sustainability, how do you plan to grow the initiative or expand your intended impact?

We think that we are going to have positive impact on many audiences to get support because we are addressing and recognizing that being out of appropriate support and of work is often the result of factors beyond the control of our most vulnerable and disadvantaged girls and women. Low self-esteem, a mental or physical disability or simply being in need of bus fare to get to a public hospital can all have a tremendous effect on their lives and future. We are going to use sports to raise awae
