AfricaAgriExport e Newsletter is a proposed on line media organization. Business is global agricultural markets data collection and the publication of electronic market information newsletter for sale to customers in Africa. The customers are population without trade information access, these are small holder farmers cooperatives, informal farmers groups, women groups, self help groups, youth groups, individual farmers, small farm business owners, investors, researchers, scholars, civil societies and farm business consultants in Africa. Business intent to collect market prices in African countries, North America countries, Eastern European countries, Middle East and Asian counties. Price data is for fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbal medicine, oil crops, cereals, pulses, cotton , sisal, beverages, industrial crops, fish, goats, cattle, milk, wool, skin and leather, eggs, poultry, honey and silk. The quantities market demanded of the above mentioned farm commodity in major markets, contact for export inquiries and market requirements information will be provided to customers. The market information is published in electronic newsletter and circulated monthly to customers at the cost of 2 US dollars subscription fee. Lack of export market information in Africa is the primary hindrance to rural investments in agriculture. It contributes to low trade within Africa and has limited the trade between African people with the rest of the world. Tropical climate is conducive to agricultural production, yet potential African farm production has not been realized. Nearly 500 million Africans are poor, 80 percent of the poor are rural peasants. The opportunity in rural investment is agriculture with market orientation. AfricaAgriExport e Newsletter has a potential market of 800,000 subscriptions, this market is valued at 1,600,000 US Dollars in monthly trade turn over.

Problem

Financial grants and social venture capital so that i can pay for IT system, acquire other tools for the work and engage 5 workers to undertake the business. I wish to reach 30,000 clients in the next 2 years

Solution

AfricaAgriExport e Newsletter provides market information to small scale farmers and SMEs , small investors can develop investment plans that wins credit financing from banks because knowledge of markets is the fundamental factor for investment planning. Credit access is the biggest weapon to kill poverty in Africa. Banks and micro finance will only give credit for worthy investment proposals with complete financial returns model. Small investors are severely constrained because they don't know about markets and cannot model financial returns to the standard credit institutions want. I already have my clients getting bank credit because of worthy investment proposals when they know markets

Example

In Kenya market information for passion fruits has stimulated investment of 2000 passion fruits farmers in 1 year, monthly earnings per farmer is 200 US Dollars. Market information for export bananas has stimulated 100 farmers in Kenya to plant each 0.5 acres of the crop, the projected monthly income after one year will be 100 US dollars. Export market information for fish has stimulated investment and credit financing in lake victoria fishery in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Marketplace

My peers are providing training but not market information. I have none competitor in cross border trade market information broking.

I want to give first priority to cross border trade in Africa. Imagine when Kenya is suffering acute famine due drought, Tanzania maize is rotting in granaries because there is no market. Trade in agricultural commodity between neighboring countries is the way forward to solving the problem of famine. BUT MARKETS INFORMATION IN NOT AVAILABLE, AfricaAgriExport e Newsletter is to make market information available . Secondly i wish peasants can organize to export to foreign markets Africa countries have quarters.
