Water is the necessity of human being. But in rural area, available water is consumed by the people. As a result they suffer with water born diseases and most sufferer are the children.No importance is given for safe and pure drinking water. The women folk in rural area lack employment opportunities. Need and availability of educated women folk will address these problems.

Jaldoot an innovation with Ultra Filteration(UF)- Membrane based System ensures bacteria & virus free Pure & safe drinking water. The filteration system works on three wheeler.The surface water available localy can be processed with the technology and cost of the filetred water is very less. (presently the customers are charged 50 paise for one liter of water) The women entrepreneurs will be provided with vehicles fitted with the filteration system and they will sell pure drinking water at the doorstep of the villagers in rural area. They will also provide village based services like sanitory napkins, Business Correpondent of banks, agency services for the need based services/product.
These entrepreneurs will be imparted extensive training covering skill, technical knowhow of three wheelers and membrane and marketing.
The innovation is started in Shirur block of Pune district and will be expended initially in Maharashtra state.
The women entrepreneur will be getting employment round the year. These initiatives will empower them economically and socially in the society.
