What makes your idea unique?

what makes my idea unique is that most projects have come up without looking at the gender equality. in uganda its a culture that women do substance farming and men commercial farming this therefore, makes my idea unique the involvement of men and women in production will lead to development unlike the failing projects in uganda.

my project is adressing problems of hunger in schools of uganda, unemployment, gender inequality, food insecurity, poverty among others.

Describe the steps that your organization is taking to make your project successful.

steps involved in my project to be successfull are issuing of free maize seeds to both men and women, involvement of government in sustainable production of maize flour, project proposals to partner projects involved in production of maize world over, use on modern tools of farming, emphasis of commercial large scale production, identify market for products most probably schools and other retail shops, wholesallers among others

What will it take for your project to be successful over the next three years? Success in Year 1:

first and foremost when the project is in place with all the required tools that aid production with the ugandas schools population and neighbouring countries in a period of about one year the project would be solving problems of hunger, unemployment, poverty, agriculture backwardness hence success.

Success in Year 2:

in year2 we expect much more emphasis on identifying more modern methods for effective production of maize basing on prevailling market

Success in Year 3:

in year3 we expect economies of large scale production hence improve in infrastructure, machinery and markets more improved quality production, profits among others.

the expected results of these actions are likely to the following, sustainable maize production, employment, agriculture improvement and sustainability, increase of households incomes among others.

What was the defining moment that led you to this innovation?

the most pressing moment is the way NAADS[National agriculture advisory services] in uganda how in handles the issuing of agricultural products that ends in the hands of the men who culturaly for commercial production ignoring the women, gender equality is the way for agriculture development of uganda.
