Ashoka is the biggest and oldest global network of social entrepreneurs. Over the past 30 years Ashoka has identified and supported 3,000 entrepreneurs who are applying creative solutions to the world’s biggest social, environmental and economic challenges.

Satisfeito Project

Participating restaurants are encourage to adopt techniques to reduce food waste and offer dishes that engage customers to consume consciously, the so-called "Satisfeito Dishes ". Those dishes prevent the food waste and restaurant saves money. Part of the sales can be donated to fight child hunger.

Link Your Purpose (LYP) is an innovative social enterprise. It is the first of its kind, using cutting-edge technology and new testing methods that are fun and accessible to help young people in Jamaica to identify and fulfil their career goals. LYP hopes to revolutionize career services in schools.

SAADI'S Young Poultry Farmers


Creates employment, builds skills and robust small-businesses for diverse, poorest youths (including at-risk girls) to form micro poultry farmers across Gambia; with a scalable out-grower model using innovative scalable cages and mobile-refrigerated units to transport to established customers.

Mariam Issaka's New Entry

Project hope targets the training of young street girls who move from the less privileged northern to the southern part of the country to do menial jobs. The project seeks to equip these young girls with entrepreneurial skills to make them economically independent.
